Paleo & Grain

Egg-Free
: no breading and no batter, so no eggs necessary
Gluten-Free
: skipped the batter and breading, which makes these air Fryer chicken wing recipes naturally gluten-free.
Dairy-Free
: I included a dairy-free option for the Buffalo Sauce, so there’s no need to miss out on the sauce you love if the butter in the sauce doesn’t love you back.
Whole30
: You can enjoy crispy Buffalo chicken wings while eating on Whole30. Baking powder is not technically compliant if it contains corn starch, so we give you tips for making a simple, Whole30-compatible swap for the baking powder, so you get all the crispiness without the cornstarch.
Cooking Tips & Substitutions
To make your Air Fryer Buffalo Wings Paleo-friendly and Whole30-compatible, substitute one teaspoon baking soda + 2 teaspoons cream of tartar for the one tablespoon of baking powder in the recipe
To make the Buffalo sauce dairy-free, replace the butter or ghee with an equal amount of coconut oil.
I ALSO ADDED RECIPE FOR BLUE CHEESE DRESSING. It is also one of my favorite dipping sauces to get along with my Buffalo Wings.
INGREDIENTS:
2 Pounds Chicken Wings
4 Tablespoon unsalted Butter
3/4 Cup Franks
Freshly Ground Pepper and Salt
1 teaspoon White Vinegar
1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
4 tablespoons unsalted Butter Melted.
A dash f Worcestershire Sauce
Blue Cheese Dressing
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
1/4 tsp garlic powder
3 oz. blue cheese
kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
INSTRUCTIONS


Rinse the chicken wings and pat dry.


Now season with Salt and pepper for your tasting.
Place your wings in the fryer. Set your fryer to 425F for 25 minutes.
Blend the hot sauce, vinegar, melted butter, onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce using a blender until the sauce is smooth.
When your wings are done cooking, transfer to a large bowl, add your sauce and toss to coat.
Blue Cheese Dressing:
In a medium bowl, you want to whisk together your sour cream, mayonnaise, and buttermilk.



Now add the garlic powder and mix in the, crumble the blue cheese and stir it into the dressing.
You want to taste the sauce and adjust the seasons as needed: add the blue cheese, pepper, and salt until you are happy with the flavor.
The dressing will last for 3-4 days in the refrigerator when kept in a sealed container. You may wish to top the sauce with chives, parsley.
